    Standard Sinus tachycardia

    Hello My dear!

Can someone tell me this thing?
I know it probably is not bad but evtl.Langzeitfolgen are there?
My cardiologist wanted me to prescribe a calcium antagonist (I have othersPsoriasis Arthritis, as one may well be non-beta blocker) my family doctor finds the idea but not so great and has discouraged me.
After I have read in the I-Net, the side effects, I wonder if I will cast out the devil with the Bezelbub.

    Greetings

    Standard Sinus tachycardia

    Hi Michael!

First of all thanks for the link but I already knew .
Unfortunately I could only read about evtl.Langzeitfolgen nowhere.
Is it better possibly side effects (verapamil or diltiazem on without) are to be accepted or not take?
'll Just have pills for everything anyway, it does not really need to be more
    Is there evtl.Alternativen?
What else can I do more to put out of pills?

    Greetings
    Locin32

    Standard Sinus tachycardia

Long-term consequences of an untreated sinus tachycardia are definitely some heart failure and cardiac arrest. Detailed here are intended to give medical students the answer.

An alternative possibility, which we discussed on the topic of sinus tachycardia, is the so-called carotid compression test.

To this end I have once written down you also a link:

    Carotid compression test

    Best wishes,
    Micha

    Standard Sinus tachycardia

Hello Locin32 was with you once made a long-term ECG?
If you have been looking for the cause with you, because a sinus tachycardia usually has other causes?
Do you take drugs perhaps, which have, as a side effect of the increase Symphatikotonus (sympathomimetics)?
    Was once checked your thyroid?

Since when did you get the heart racing?

    Standard Sinus tachycardia

    Hi Starbug,

I always had this racing heart again, just one day I had symptoms which were also on a heart attack can be a sign and I was afraid.
Long-term blood pressure and 24 hour ECG was written, a heart echo was also made and discussed with the cardiologist.
It then came out the sinus tachycardia.
I have several diseases that are treated with medications, some are also available as side effects, heart problems in it.
Is suspected especially the Sulfasalazine, I have had to reduce the dose and found that it alone can not be because, although I must say that has not repeated as an attack (tightness, shortness of breath, increased sweating, paleness, nausea) since , the high pulse but I stayed.
The cardiologist said that it would be better to persist and increased distress on my part, take a calcium antagonist.
I wonder whether it can provide long-term damage the heart, when I try to continue without medication to cope. (Side effects)
The thyroid gland, we can exclude, I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis is a loud statement of my doctors (and body feeling) well adjusted (blood count check).

    Medication at the time:
    L-Thyrox 175, 500 sulfasalazine, omeprazole, prednisolone, 2 mg, Vigantoletten 1000,
    Lamuna 30
    Diclac, Aaran, Hylocomod as needed
    A Organbeteildigung was also excluded

    Greetings
