Hi!

Since I'm now in a Berlin hospital at the 'open day' and worked there, the DRC has also conducted blood donation, I am spontaneous and have donated over.
Afterwards - we can not even start again, but still want something to sit under observation - I am talking with a young doctor who said that had come within four hours only 15 preserved together and that is very little.

I am in the last few weeks at work have noticed time and again that at least here in Berlin, a real shortage of blood supplies.

Why is it that hardly anyone will donate, I can guess. Are probably reasons like: It is healthy, not to think about diseases, "I will always me, but ...", Oh sure it had enough other donations, do not affect me anyway ...
I know that not everyone can donations, some have a different conviction.
But I find it very sad that too few people probably think about this issue and act.

For us, the blood is always over two days. In contrast to the surrounding villages, there is always our delicious hot meal, why spend a lot of us, instead of in their place!
